Driving lessons from 16,5 years Amsterdam
Thanks to 2todrive, you can now start driving lessons earlier, from the age of 16.5. You can take your driving test as soon as you turn 17. Have you passed? Then you may only drive until your 18th birthday under the supervision of your chosen coach. So you no longer have to wait until you are 18 before you can finally start driving lessons!

- You gain extra driving experience under supervision, thus reducing the risk of accidents.
- Young people taking part in 2toDrive say they feel more confident and safe to drive
- You choose your own coach!
- You choose how many coaches you want (minimum 1, maximum 5)
- You can prove to your coach that you can drive well.
- Your friends are also welcome in the car with you and your coach!
How does it work?
- Are you 16 years old? Then you can start by getting your theory exam.
- From the age of 16,5 years you can start driving lessons.
- When you turn 17, you may take a driving test.
- Have you got your driving licence? Then you can drive a car together with your coach until you are 18 years old.
- From the age of 18, you can drive on your own.
Accompanied driving, also abroad?
No, that is not allowed. Once you have passed, you are only allowed to drive a coach car in the Netherlands as a 17-year old!
